Welcome

The GroupWolverhampton National Trust Conservation Volunteers (WNTCV) is an outdoor conservation group carrying out work on behalf of the National Trust at properties throughout the West Midlands,  Staffordshire and Shropshire.

The group was formed in 1980 to carry out voluntary work primarily at Wightwick Manor. The group has expanded since its early days although the same enthusiasm remains.

Our members come from all over the West Midlands and are from a wide variety of ages and backgrounds. We enjoy working in the outdoors and learning new skills. It’s a good opportunity to meet new people and make friends as we usually work as a team.

We arrange workdays every Sunday, although our members attend when it is convenient for them. We spend theworking the bonfire day working with National Trust Wardens on National Trust land.

As well as the regular workdays we also arrange a number of working weekends and social events throughout the year.
